An innovative day-to-night café-bar will host a gin infusion workshop in partnership with Tanquery gin on 29th July 2019. Leeds-based café-bar, iroko will welcome guests to a unique event, including samples, cocktail tutorials and infusion sessions.
Starting at 6.30pm, ticketholders will receive a complimentary welcome cocktail and an introduction to the story behind one of the world’s most popular cocktails, the gin and tonic.
As well as sampling a variety of gin flavours, visitors to iroko will also learn how to infuse herbs, fruit and vegetables with the delicious Tanqueray gin for a truly personalised gin and tonic.
Tanqueray gin originated in London and is now produced in Scotland; it was named the world’s bestseller of gin in 2016. Tickets to the gin infusion workshop can be purchased on iroko’s website and are priced at £20 per person.
Commenting on the event, co-director at iroko, Alexander Neil said: “Our events are really what differentiates us from other bars in Leeds. We’re always coming up with new ideas to give our customers at iroko something different to look forward to and learn. This is our first gin infusion workshop and we’ve had lots of interest so far so we’re confident it’s going to be a brilliant evening.”
iroko is keen to be at the forefront of new food and drink trends, and has become well known for its monthly events and inventive day-to-night moving back-bar. A family-owned business, iroko’s sister bars include Rolands and The Domino Club.
