Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, today kicks off its ‘Where’s Metro Man’ selfie competition. Set to hit major cities across the UK over the next few weeks, the contest marks the bank taking the revolution nationwide with the launch of current accounts online.
The first stop on the tour is Leeds, where the bank has committed to opening a store within the next three years. Metro Man, the bank’s mascot, will be hiding somewhere around Briggate, and Metro Bank is challenging the community to find their mascot, take their best selfie with him and tweet the pictures using #JoinTheRevolution for the chance to win an iPad mini.
Craig Donaldson, CEO at Metro Bank commented: “We are excited to introduce Metro Man to the residents of Leeds, as we celebrate going nationwide with our new current account online platform. Now wherever customers are in the UK, they can experience the great service and convenience that everyone’s been talking about.”
For the chance to win, follow the conversation using #JoinTheRevolution on Twitter and snap your selfie with Metro Man. The competition will also be running in Birmingham, Southampton and Manchester over the coming weeks.
