Karl Turner MP opens Wozair Energy Holdings new premises
Wozair Energy Holdings Ltd is delighted to announce the opening of their new premises at Malmo Road Hull.
This follows Wozair’s acquisition of Thermoplant Offshore Services Limited (TOSL) in 2019, and North Sea Ventilation and Air Conditioning Limited (NSV & AC) in 2022. With both NSV & AC and Thermoplant, two leading companies supplying HVAC to the onshore/offshore oil and gas industry for more than 25 years, and more recently renewables, being well-established in Hull the decision to source a factory in the city was a simple one.
The Member of Parliament for Kingston upon Hull East, Karl Turner, cut the ribbon to open the factory. He said: “It is an absolute honour to open Wozair’s brand new factory here in Hull. The thriving business will create more jobs for people and help build up the local economy, for which we are all very grateful. May Wozair continue to grow for many years to come.”
The new building is unlike anything that the company has operated in before, both in terms of size and facility. With 17,500 sq ft of workshop floor, 13,322 sq ft of office space and a mezzanine area covering approx. 4,200 sq ft, the factory will increase NSV & AC’s output and productivity to greater heights. Planning has been issued for a factory extension to increase the manufacturing area to incorporate high-tech sheet metal machinery, which is hoped will be completed by the end of the year.
Wozair’s relocation has helped safeguard 22 jobs at NSV & AC, and will likely create new staff/workshop positions once the move is complete.
The company is excited to start forging a new era of stability, growth and expansion from this point onwards. Tony Williams, one of the shareholders of the group stated: “The opening of this state of the art factory in Hull is just the beginning for this new era for Wozair. We intend to continue supplying the highest quality HVAC products for our increasing customer base, as well as assist the local community with new jobs and opportunities.”
