Hurayra Pet Foods answers charity call for help

Hurayra Pet Foods, a rising name in premium, ethically sourced pet nutrition, has stepped forward to support the Harrogate Cat Rescue following the charity’s recent appeal for help. The company has donated a significant supply of its newly launched premium cat food, providing the equivalent of a year’s nutrition for one of the rescue cats. The donation reflects the company’s commitment to animal welfare and ethical, high-quality nutrition.

“At Hurayra, our mission has always been to care for animals with compassion and quality,” said Aihtsham Rashid, the Yorkshire entrepreneur and Founder of Hurayra Pet Foods. “When we heard that the Harrogate Cat Rescue was struggling to meet demand, we knew we had to help.”

Hurayra’s recently launched dry cat food is now stocked in selected Morrisons across the country, as well as being available via subscription on the brand’s website. Developed to provide complete and balanced nutrition using responsibly sourced, quality ingredients, the high protein, meat derivative free food has no wheat, soy or filler.

The ground breaking product is the only officially HMC Halal registered pet food in the UK.

Celia Dakin, founder of Harrogate Cat Rescue added: “We’re very thankful for this donation by Hurayra. The donation will make a real difference to the health and happiness of the cats in our care, the majority of whom are rescues awaiting new homes. Many of our cats have digestive problems, so having such a high quality food option to give them is fantastic.”

Hurayra will continue to support the Harrogate based charity with a monthly donation of food to support Celia at the rescue centre, and her 50 cat foster homes.
