Hotel Chocolat at Trinity Leeds is launching as the UK’s first two-storey Chocolate Metropolis, with a VIP preview event on Wednesday 4th July, providing the ultimate cocoa destination for chocolate lovers in Leeds.
The Chocolate Metropolis is designed to be an exclusive space dedicated entirely to chocolate – from its Mega Café, serving signature hot chocolate and freshly baked brownies, to its School of Chocolate, providing visitors with the opportunity to try their hand at making chocolate straight from the cocoa bean.
An ice-cream hatch will also dispense ‘ice-cream of the Gods’ directly onto one of the busiest corners in Leeds. Infused with Saint Lucian Theobroma cocoa nibs, the ice-cream is designed to provide heavenly flavours to those passing by.
Samuel Long, the store manager at Hotel Chocolat, said: “Leeds was an obvious choice for our first Chocolate Metropolis as there are many sweet-toothed lovers within the vibrant and bustling city centre. We look forward to our VIP event in July and to welcoming both new and returning customers to the store to try their hand at luxury chocolate making or find their perfect retreat with one of our signature cocoa-based drinks and ice-cream.”
Dan Wharton, Marketing Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “The Chocolate Metropolis is a fantastic addition to Leeds, providing visitors with the ultimate destination to sample an array of irresistible treats and interactive experiences. Hotel Chocolat has always been a firm favourite for customers at Trinity Leeds and the luxury retailer complements the centre’s mix of aspirational brands.”
