Have you ever thought about the Queen's Award for Enterprise for your business?

On the 23rd July Lord Lieutenant, Ed Anderson will share information on the awards with businesses across the region.

The Queens's Awards for Enterprise are awarded to eligible businesses who demonstrate outstanding achievements in the categories of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

If your business is awarded one of these prestigious awards, The Queen’s Award flag can be flown with pride, and the emblem can be used on all your company marketing materials giving your business the recognition it deserves.

Lord Lieutenant, Ed Anderson, Chambers of Commerce and companies from the region who have gained the award will be taking part in a webinar to help you with your application.

The webinar will showcase Mark Ridgway, Group Rhodes Limited, (pictured meeting The Queen) who will be sharing his experiences of the application process and sharing any tips he has. Group Rhodes Limited won the Innovation Award in 2010 and the International Trade Award in 2012. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Sandy Needham, West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce said "The West and North Yorkshire Chamber and Mid Yorkshire Chamber are delighted to be working with the Lord Lieutenant, Ed Anderson to promote these prestigious awards. These awards give businesses across the region great recognition and can boots staff morale at a time when it is needed most, I encourage our members and other businesses to apply."
