Leeds-based construction marketing agency Harris Creative has added yet another client to its roster after being appointed by innovative offsite specialist M-AR to handle the company’s social media and public relation strategies.
M-AR is a forward-thinking and fast-growing modular construction contractor, based in Hull, and working primarily in the housing and education sectors. The company is currently delivering several high-profile schemes, including the first ever purpose-built accommodation building for national homeless charity Centrepoint, three affordable housing developments for Bromley Council and a large school extension for a secondary school in Newham.
The appointment follows a successful trial period which saw Harris successfully grow M-AR’s LinkedIn page to over 4,000 followers, and steer the business to a number of high-profile awards nominations and wins. Harris now implements M-AR’s public relations strategy within the construction sector press, as well as raising its profile regionally, and fully manages M-AR’s social media channels, including content creation and paid social media activity.
Harris’ long history of working with modular construction specialists across the UK stands the agency in good stead for taking M-AR to the next level. The account is managed by long-standing head of social media Karla Lopez Crowley, and senior PR account manager, Liz Slack, with support from the wider PR and social media divisions.
Commenting on the contract win, Kirsty Scott, joint managing director said: “M-AR is a company on an impressive growth trajectory, and is an excellent fit for our business in terms of the sectors it operates within, and in terms of its company ethos which we find closely overlaps with our own. Ryan and the team at M-AR are keen to do things differently and collaborate to achieve great things – something we are proud to support them in.”
Ryan Geldard, operations manager said: “After just a few weeks of working together, it was clear that Harris inherently understood our business and the ambitious direction we are taking. We are keen to grow and to work collaboratively, something that Harris has unreservedly thrown its support behind and we are already seeing impressive results. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Karla and Liz and to build on our success so far.”
