Huddersfield pharmaceutical company Thornton & Ross is looking to fill 40 positions at its Linthwaite production site as the business continues to expand.
Employees are sought to fill a variety of roles with the company, which recently acquired a number of well-known dermatology brands including Savlon® and Oilatum® from GSK.
Opportunities range from entry-level positions to progressive roles within the company. The breadth of roles includes technical operators, team leaders, process workers and scientific roles. The vacancies will be showcased at a recruitment fair at Huddersfield University later this month, while a recruitment firm, Huddersfield-based Red Diamond Executive Headhunters, has been appointed to help fill the positions.
Thornton & Ross develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of branded over-the-counter medicines, dermatological solutions and other healthcare and hygiene products including Zoflora®, Hedrin® and Setlers®. It is part of the German-based STADA Group.
Mark Kirkup, Thornton Ross’s Vice-President of UK Operations, said the opportunities had been created as a result of the company’s continuing growth. He commented: “This is a great time to be joining the business as there are ambitious growth plans in place at Thornton & Ross. These are permanent positions at different levels across the company that represent extremely exciting opportunities for the right candidates.”
