Following the devastation that Storm Ciara has caused, the Community Foundation for Calderdale set up an appeal to raise £1 million for people, charities, and businesses effected by the floods. Applications are now open for grants. To apply, visit www.cffc.co.uk and complete the online form. Grants are available for residents, charities and businesses.
CEO Steve Duncan DL explained, “Our organisation has 30 years’ experience in raising funds and then giving it out as grants to local people who need it. There is a form from Calderdale Council that is collecting data to ascertain the damage the floods have done. If people want an emergency grant, they need to complete the application form on our website
“There will be three stages of giving grants out, this first stage is giving people emergency grants to access money straightaway.
