The Firecracker Ball, the premier charity corporate event of the year in Yorkshire, has unveiled its new brand as it enters its 22nd year. Renowned for its unwavering support for Barnardo’s, to date the event has raised almost £3.4 million for the charity, transforming the lives of thousands of children and young people across the region.

Returning to Rudding Park on 9th November, the Firecracker Ball continues to attract Yorkshire's leading corporate businesses and entrepreneurs. This event provides an excellent opportunity for businesses and individuals to host clients and friends in an unforgettable setting.

This year, the Firecracker Ball committee has revealed an enchanting theme where guests will be transported to a magical midnight garden. Adding to the allure, attendees will be entertained by world-class performers, including Alfie Boe OBE, Angus Ashworth, and the highly anticipated return of Rick Parfitt Jr and the RPJ band.

A highlight of this year’s event is the menu designed by Adam Degg, the Yorkshire chef who recently made his BBC Two Great British Menu debut.

As Head Chef and host at FIFTY TWO the new immersive dining experience at Rudding Park, where a bespoke open kitchen and garden take centre stage, Degg promises to deliver a culinary experience that will impress the guests.

Chair of the Firecracker Ball committee, Tom Dempsey, said: “Each year, the Firecracker Ball sets the bar higher, and this year is no exception. With the incredible support of Yorkshire’s business community and the addition of star chef Adam Degg, we are set for an extraordinary evening that will further our mission to raise vital funds for Barnardo’s. It is going to be an unforgettable night whilst contributing to a cause that transforms the lives of children and young people.”

Kirsty Guy, senior relationship manager at Barnardo’s, said: “The Firecracker Ball committee wanted to undertake the re-brand to update our look, by adding elegance and a touch of magic, which perfectly aligns with this year's 'Magical Midnight Garden' theme. This transformation means a lot to us as a committee, as it not only enhances the enchantment and sophistication of our event, but it also highlights the incredible magic the event creates by raising vital funds for Barnardo's.”

Kirsty continued: “Since Barnardo’s became The Firecracker Ball’s chosen charity in 2002, the amount raised is almost £3.4million, which is incredible. This has directly funded Barnardo’s services across Yorkshire, ensuring that every penny reaches the front lines, and we can continue to transform childhoods and change lives.”
