Family law specialist named in industry awards guide
A Yorkshire family law expert has been named in a prestigious industry awards guide that recognises and highlights the achievements of women in law from across the globe who have impacted the legal profession with their refined experience and expertise.
Rachel Spencer Robb is a partner and head of LCF Law’s Family Law team. She has more than 25 years’ experience dealing exclusively with family law issues and is qualified collaborative lawyer, which means she is able to offer clients all forms of dispute resolution. The 2020 Women in Law Awards are run by Lawyer Monthly magazine.
The legal experts who feature in this year’s awards guide have been through an in-depth selection process and evaluated using a points based system by Lawyer Monthly’s research team. Areas assessed included involvement in significant legal cases, peer recognition, personal achievements, published articles and journals, previous accolades, awards and international legal guide inclusions, as well as evidence of strategic thinking, planning, client care and innovation.
Rachel said: “It’s professionally very rewarding to have been chosen as one of the women in this well regarded annual awards guide. My work as a family lawyer over the many years has seen me work with hundreds of families helping them through divorce and separation, agreeing financial settlements, working through arrangements for children and representing them in court.
“I have worked on some high profile cases for both UK based and international clients and protecting the best interests of my clients at all times is what drives me. I have to say one of the most rewarding elements of my job has been helping clients avoid court action, where possible, and the mediation and alternative dispute resolution work is hugely satisfying.”
Rachel is an Accredited Mediator and is also nationally recognised as an expert in her field by independent legal guides Chamber and Partners and Legal 500. She is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Family Law Panel, as well as an Accredited Specialist of Resolution.
