Leeds property consultancy, Gent Visick, has negotiated another letting at a popular North Leeds trade counter estate. There is now just one remaining unit available at Ribston Trade Park on Roundhay Road.
Electrical wholesaler, Denmans, has taken unit one on a new 10-year lease. The business was founded in 1946, and is part of Rexel, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies and services to the industrial, commercial and residential markets.
This is its first in Leeds and it has initially created four new jobs at the site. The company, which is well-known for excellent availability and value-driven products, will use its new Leeds base to sell thousands of industry-leading products, from underfloor heating and LED lighting to heating and ventilation supplies, lighting, smart home accessories and power tools, to the electrical trade industry.
Managing director, Paul Atherton, commented: “As a Leeds born and bred northerner it’s a great pleasure to be able to bring Denmans to my hometown. Leeds and the surrounding areas have many thousands of potential customers who can enjoy our professional range of 12,500 electricians’ products, ready for delivery or collection in under a minute.
“We pride ourselves on service, availability, innovation and value, and we look forward to welcoming new customers to Denmans. Our arrival at Ribston Trade Park in Leeds further compliments our other established Yorkshire branches in Huddersfield and York.”
Jonathan Jacob, from Gent Visick, commented: “Ribston Trade Park continues to be the go-to estate for trade counter occupiers looking to gain a foothold in North Leeds. This deal marks the third unit let to a national trade counter occupier in as many months, and we anticipate significant interest in the last remaining unit.”
The Trade Park is already home to national trade counter occupiers Eurocell and City Plumbing Supplies while Jewson, Selco, Screwfix, Toolstation, Edmundson Electrical, Topps Tiles and GSF Car Parts are all within close proximity.
