Eddisons relocates Bradford offices out of city centre to better serve industrial market
Growing national property consultancy Eddisons, which is headquartered in Leeds, has relocated its Bradford offices to the east wing of Frank Marshall Estates’ Grade II-listed Newhall building close to the M606 and M62 motorways, where the firm has taken 1,400 sq ft.
The move from Eddisons’ Bradford city centre site to the restored 17th century former manor house at the Newhall is a strategic relocation for the firm. It enables the seven-strong Eddisons Bradford team to better service their client base, which is predominantly made up of businesses in the industrial property market. The firm recently sold its city-centre office building to a residential developer.
“This is a great move for us,” said Matt Jennings, associate director based in the Bradford office. “We now have an inspiring and productive work environment, that enables us to embrace modern ways of working and will provide space for the team to grow.
“As well as being a fantastic, historic Bradford building, which Frank Marshall Estates has transformed into exceptional office space, our new offices provide superb access to the motorway network, as well as to the city centre, enabling us to be extremely responsive to our clients across the region.”
He added: “Despite economic struggles, the industrial market has remained resilient in Bradford, with strong demand for a range of property sizes and an appetite for industrial development sites and we are now in an even better location to service that market, as well as the office and investment markets.”
Frank Marshall Estates, the long-established, commercial development and investment company, is also based at its Newhall site. Director Edward Marshall said: “Eddisons are one of the best. They are a historic Yorkshire company like us and we have now worked with them for more than 50 years.
“We’re really pleased to be sharing the Newhall with them. The building’s restoration has been a flagship project for us and we’ve created fantastic state of the art offices in a great location.”
