DPP Planning welcomes three new graduates to its Leeds office

DPP Planning, one of the UK’s leading independent planning consultancies, has strengthened its Leeds office with the appointment of three new graduate assistant planners.

Sam Wainwright, a graduate of Leeds Beckett University, joined the team in Spring 2025. He was followed by Jamie Pratten, who completed his degree at the University of Sheffield last summer. Most recently, Charlotte Hewison, also a graduate of the University of Sheffield, joined the firm after completing her Master’s in Urban Studies and Planning (MPlan).

The appointments are part of DPP’s recent graduate intake for 2025, which has seen eight new graduates join across its offices countrywide. The new Leeds recruits will be supporting projects across a range of sectors, contributing to the consultancy’s continued growth in the region.

Gareth Hooper, CEO said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sam, Jamie and Charlotte to our Leeds office. Each of them brings enthusiasm, fresh ideas and valuable skills to the business, and they have already made a great start. Their appointments underline the importance we place on investing in talent at the beginning of their careers, and we’re excited to support their professional development here at DPP.

“It’s encouraging to see so many talented young planners choosing to start their careers with us, and we’re confident that Sam, Jamie and Charlotte will make a real impact as they develop their expertise in Leeds.”

Applications are now open for DPP’s 2026 graduate recruitment programme, offering opportunities in Leeds and across the UK.
