DPP Planning announces a key promotion at its Leeds office

DPP Planning, one of the UK’s leading independent planning consultancies, has announced a key promotion at its Leeds office.

Jack Waugh has been promoted to Planner, having joined the business through its graduate scheme in September 2023 following his MPlan studies at the University of Sheffield.

In the past year, Jack has successfully project managed multiple small-scale projects in the education and residential sectors. On larger more complex schemes, he is assisting the team on a new training facility for Harrogate Town FC and has helped to secure a certificate of lawful proposed use or development in respect of the completion of a dwelling, for which the foundations were laid in 1947. He has also helped prepare evidence for hearings and his growing technical competence and professional approach have made him a valued member of the Leeds team.
Gareth Hooper, CEO of DPP Planning, said of the promotions: “We are proud to be able to announce these promotions at DPP. Our team is growing in numbers, expertise, and confidence, and it is showing in the projects we are managing and the business we are winning.

“It is also great to see that DPP’s investment in our graduate scheme is also paying off with people like Jack progressing and excelling with us.”

Gareth added: “Our independence is central to our success and continues to attract some of the most promising talent in the business to our graduate schemes. But it is likewise very rewarding to see those who have joined us with more experience also see the benefits of working at a consultancy like DPP and are developing and advancing their careers with us.”
