Document Management specialist, Microform gains BS 10008 accreditation
Wakefield-based document management solution specialists, Microform, has recently gained accreditation for BS 10008: a new standard for legally admissible electronic information.
BS 10008 is a standard that sets out guidelines for the creation, storage, and retrieval of electronic records that are intended to be used as evidence in a legal context. This includes records such as contracts, invoices, and other important business documents. To achieve accreditation, companies must demonstrate that they have implemented strict controls and processes to ensure the integrity, authenticity, and reliability of their electronic records.
Managing director Jonathan LePage says: “At Microform we are constantly setting out to provide our customers with the highest level of service and support and helping them to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Microform’s accreditation for BS 10008 is a significant achievement, as it demonstrates that we have met the rigorous requirements set out by the standard. This means that customers can have confidence in the security and reliability of the electronic records they store with Microform, knowing that they will be admissible as evidence in a court of law. “
The accreditation also highlights Microform's commitment to providing customers with the highest level of service and support. By meeting the requirements of BS 10008, they are demonstrating their dedication to helping customers comply with legal and regulatory requirements and mitigate the risk of disputes.
In addition to its accreditation for BS 10008, Microform is also accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001, demonstrating their commitment to quality, environmental management, and information security.
