Blacks Solicitors’ Commercial Property team has supported DJ School UK in the acquisition of a lease for new premises
The Commercial Property team advised DJ School UK, on the taking a new lease of an office space at Testbed, a 10,000 square foot industrial space near Crown Point. The new premises will bring significant opportunities through social enterprise and music education, and will be used to host arts, community, and electronic music events.
Nick Dyson, head of commercial property commented, “It was great to learn more about his inspiring social enterprise which seeks to provide DJ and music production tuition to young people across the Leeds area.
“They have been fantastic to work with and we wish the team at DJ school all the best with their new premises. It is a great platform for the musical education of communities in Leeds and we’re proud to have played a part in securing the premises as they grow.”
DJ School UK is a social enterprise that teaches people of any age how to get started, progress or break into the modern DJ industry. The classes on offer present an opportunity to raise self esteem and teach life skills to the students of the enterprise.
Jim Reiss, managing director at DJ School UK comments “We are so grateful for the assistance of the team at Blacks Solicitors. We look forward to the start of an exciting relationship and adventure for the school at the new premises. We can’t wait to see the impact that the new space has on our current and new students, and the role we can play in developing their confidence and skill set.”
