Developer of Bank Street in Sheffield rebrands

One Heritage Group (OHG), the Manchester-based residential developer has announced a comprehensive restructuring plan, including a rebrand.

OHG is rebranding as Zentra Group PLC, which better reflects its renewed strategic focus and its independence from the One Heritage brand.
This new identity gives the company greater flexibility to reshape its image in the UK property market, focusing on the development of homes and apartments.

CEO Jason Upton explained the reasons behind the rebrand in further detail, saying: “The decision to rebrand as Zentra stems from a desire to establish a unique identity that resonates with the company’s new vision. The name Zentra was chosen to embody the values of balance, harmony, and focus, with Zen symbolising a sense of calm and mindful approach to property development.

“By adopting this new brand, we are positioning Zentra as a trusted, forward-thinking leader in the UK property sector.”

Key developments by the company include One Victoria in Manchester; Bank Street, Sheffield; Lincoln House, Bolton; St Petersgate, Stockport; and Victoria Road, Eccleshill.

OHG was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2020 and since then has successfully delivered over 150 residential properties as principal and over 100 as development manager.

Looking ahead, Zentra will focus on two core residential sectors by delivering apartments under its new Living brand and houses under its new Homes brand while continuing to provide development management and property management and services. Zentra will also seek out regeneration and growth opportunities through partnership and collaborative working, looking to build on relations with local authorities and registered providers.

Jason explained: “We create attractive, sustainable developments that enhance places. Having two distinct sub-brands allows us to tailor our messaging and marketing efforts more effectively. The Living brand will resonate with professionals seeking modern, vibrant living spaces in city centre locations, while the Homes brand will appeal to families and individuals looking for more traditional options. This dual sub-branding strategy helps us to meet the diverse demands of the market while leveraging our expertise in residential property development.”

He concluded: “The restructuring of One Heritage Group and its rebranding to Zentra Group represent a pivotal moment in our journey. By realigning operations with the current market environment, de-leveraging by selling some assets, and focusing on core residential development strengths, we are positioning ourselves for long-term success.”
