As we pulled from the dark days of January, we welcomed February because it saw the launch of our new App. I would like to thank Grit Pictures in Brighouse, who designed this for us, I think you will agree they have done an amazing job.
The App allows us to reach more businesses, this time not just in Yorkshire or national, but international and the best bit is, it’s FREE for all our partners to use to promote their businesses. Add this to our print publication, website, fortnightly newsletter and networking events, I think we have Yorkshire business covered.
We were delighted to be invited to Westminster last week to a CBI / Barclays event, with a Q&A session with MPs from the Yorkshire region when they answered questions from the attendees about Yorkshire issues, transport, mental health, diversity etc.
The Kirklees College Cols Awards took place a few days ago and we were thrilled to sponsor for a second year. These awards are important for both the college and their students.
I am delighted to announced that we have another new regular columnist for TopicUK, particularly for our TopicUK-Woman website. Model Rachel Peru who will be keeping us up-to-date with all the latest fashion trends, particularly for ladies who are celebrating and embracing grey! We will be catching up with Rachel as she is modelling at The Capsule event at Aspire Leeds on Saturday, organised by the founder of The Capsule, TV presenter and actress, the gorgeous Natalie Anderson. I must point out that our lovely colleague Mandy Taylor will also model at the event.
With thanks to the lovely people at SEAT, we have enjoyed driving around this week in a SEAT Terraco. We will be running a review to let you know how we got on with it, in the next edition of TopicUK due out on 27 March.
Don’t forget to download our new App. Visit the Apple Store and type: TopicUK business magazine and if you sign up for a partnership with us before the end of March, to celebrate it’s launch, we are offering a 10% discount!
