Northern Lincolnshire and Humber accountants Forrester Boyd has announced a move to new bankers Barclays and increased funding to support growth, following the appointment of nine new partners in October 2020.
Forrester Boyd has roots going back to 1900 when Mr SM Forrester began practising in Grimsby. In 1935 the merger with Mr W Robson Boyd created the partnership which today, is one of the largest independent chartered accountancy practices working across Lincolnshire and Humber. The business is headquartered at 26, South Saint Mary’s Gate, Grimsby, the same building where Forrester Boyd was originally established.
Kevin Hopper, managing partner said: “Evolving and expanding the business is pivotal for the future of the practice. The funding from Barclays has enabled us to promote new partners and ensure the business is fit for the future with a diverse team operating across many sectors. We will continue to develop and invest in our colleagues with our aim to attract and retain the best talent and expertise we can for our clients.”
The business has offices in Grimsby, Hull, Beverley, Louth, Scunthorpe and Skegness incorporating 17 partners and over 155 staff. Forrester Boyd won Large Practice of the Year at the national Practice Excellence Awards 2016.
