Bradford-based Mansfield Pollard, a specialist provider of industrial air handling units, data centre cooling, kitchen ventilation and acoustic solutions, has expanded into a new 64,000 sq ft premises on the city’s Rook Lane industrial estate.

The 250,000 sq ft industrial estate on a 15-acre site at Dudley Hill, close to the M606 and M62 motorways, has been recently acquired and refurbished by Blackburn-based developer EP Group, and the 64,0000 sq ft unit was let to Mansfield Pollard by Eddisons in Bradford.

Eddisons commercial surveyor Matt Jennings said: “Since EP acquired the Rook Lane site it has generated a huge amount of interest and to have a high-tech manufacturer such as Mansfield Pollard on site is testament to the quality of the units.

“EP have carried out significant works to increase yard area and improve the quality of the units, in response to demand in the market and the needs of individual occupiers. We are in discussions with interested parties for the remaining space and expect to announce further lettings very shortly.”

Bryan Bentley, Mansfield Pollard operations director and co‐owner, said: “Mansfield Pollard continues to outperform all expectations and as part of our ambitious five‐year strategic growth programme the business required an additional site that would complement our operations and allow us to seamlessly continue the manufacture of our world-class products.

“The premises at Rook Lane certainly ticks all the boxes in terms of quality and flexibility, and we look forward to working closely with EP throughout the transformation and development of this amazing space.”

John Padgett, director at Eddisons, adds: “We are delighted to work with EP and their professional approach is refreshing. The works they are carrying out on site will ensure it is a prime industrial estate and we are thrilled to have EP as our client.”
