Bradford Garden Centre shortlisted for Chamber Business Award

The team at a Bradford garden centre are celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious business award.

Tong Garden Centre has been selected as the regional winner of The Rapid Riser Award at the Chamber Business Awards after a nomination from the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.

Mark Farnsworth, MD said: "Thank you, West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce for nominating us for the Rapid Riser award that celebrates organisations that demonstrate exceptional levels of growth with a strong plan for sustainable financial performance.

"We're very proud of our achievements at Tong and it's rewarding to have our efforts recognised by the local business community."

The Chamber Business Awards promote the best of British business through a series of regional heats, culminating in a campaign to showcase the winning businesses on an international stage.

Tong Garden Centre now goes through to the next stage and the national winners will be announced the week commencing 17th October.

Tong Garden Centre is owned by the YGC Group which recently opened a second site at Tingley and acquired two Stephen H Smith garden centres on Harden and Otley earlier in the year.
