The team at a Bradford Garden Centre have made way for a new pet care range by donating surplus stock to charity.
Tong Garden Centre has donated £1500 worth of dog of leads, collars, bowls, snacks and portable pet carriers to Rotherham based charity, Helping Yorkshire Poundies (HYPS).
Kennel Manager at HYPS, Sarah Dobbs is overwhelmed with Tong's generosity: "It costs an average of £2,000 per week to keep the charity going so the products that you have donated will free up valuable funds for other expenses. Thank you so much."
"We rehome dogs who come to us from all walks of life and we take into our care any dogs who need our help and are at risk of losing their life, regardless of any health problems, age or breed."
Tong's Head of Finance, Katie Young said: "We pride ourselves on supporting charities that are either in the local area, or are recommended by our team, so we're thrilled to be able to support Helping Yorkshire Poundies, which is where we found Toby, our family dog, several years ago."
