Ashberry Homes switches east riding on to digital house buying
Ashberry Homes opened the doors to only its third ever development in Yorkshire recently and with it introduced its first digital sales office in the region.
The sales and marketing suite at its new Pilgrim’s Way development in Beverley allows would-be homebuyers the chance to virtually view their preferred plot and explore the streets of the community that will spring up in the coming months through immersive CGI technology.
And although Pilgrim’s Way is the very first development in Yorkshire to offer this state-of-the-art glimpse into the finalised development, Ashberry Homes has already confirmed it will be introducing the technology to all future developments in the region.
Melanie Smith, Yorkshire sales director, said: “The digital sales office really does have the potential to change the face of how new build homes are viewed and bought. Potential homebuyers will now be able to see for themselves what their new home will look and feel like even before it is built – even getting to peer through their new living room window and see what it looks like inside.”
Being built off Woodmansey Mile, and just a short walk from Beverley town centre and the Minster, Pilgrim’s Way will comprise of 114 two, three and four-bedroom homes when complete.
All the homes being constructed are built from the housebuilder’s Future Homes blueprint. Developed as part of the Government’s Part L regulations, it focuses primarily on the conservation of fuel and power and covers everything from increasing the thickness of loft insulation to the installation of Google Nest smart learning thermostats, which typically reduce heating bills by up to 16 per cent a year, as standard. There’ll also be solar panels complete with a PV diverter, improved ventilation and a waste water heat recovery system that is designed to use residual heat from drained waste water.
“Our intention with Pilgrims’ Way is to build a development that not only sits perfectly within the surrounds of Beverley, but also delivers the most modern, efficient homes to those buying on the development,” added Melanie. “Interest, as you’d expect, has been incredibly high.”
