And the three little pigs went wee we wee all the way to Trinity

Shrek The Musical celebrated its return to Leeds Grand Theatre this week as the last stop of a record-breaking UK and Ireland Tour with a character walkabout at Trinity Leeds.

The Three Little Pigs, played by Adam Baker, Reece Kerridge and Adam Taylor, took in the sights of the Leeds shopping centre, posing for pictures and meeting Christmas shoppers.

Based on the story and characters from the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks Animation film, The Three Little Pigs form part of a gang of fairytale misfits banished by pint-sized villain, Lord Farquaad (Samuel Holmes), to live on loveable ogre Shrek’s (Steffan Harri) swamp. Much to his dismay, the only way Shrek can alleviate himself of the fairytale gang is to rescue, along with loyal steed Donkey (Marcus Ayton), the beautiful Princess Fiona (Call The Midwife’s Laura Main) from a fire-breathing dragon guarded tower and deliver her to Lord Farquaad to marry.

This hilarious and spectacular production turns the world of fairytales upside down in an all-singing, all-dancing, must-see musical comedy for all the family.

Shrek is at Leeds Grand Theatre from Tuesday 18 December 2018 to Sunday 6 January 2019
