Yorkshire-based manufacturer ACS Stainless Steel Fixings has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Stephen Ginger as non-executive director.
Stephen will work closely with managing director David Flannery and the wider leadership team to support the continued growth of ACS and the expansion of its innovative Certus™ modular brick façade system – an advanced, offsite-manufactured, mechanically fixed solution that has an A1 non-combustible fire rating with a 60-year design life.
Joining this month, Stephen brings a wealth of experience from several senior leadership roles, including at Metsec – the market leader in purlins and framing systems. Stephen served as sales director at Metsec for eight years before taking on a decade-long tenure as managing director.
Speaking of his new role he said: “I’m delighted to join a business with an outstanding reputation for innovation, technical excellence and quality manufacturing.
“I see many similarities between Metsec and ACS in terms of the various
disciplines and business functions. I’m excited to be joining the team at such a pivotal time, as the business continues to drive growth in a challenging market, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible as a masonry facades solutions partner.”
David added: “We’re delighted to welcome Stephen to the business. His knowledge of the offsite and modular sectors, combined with his commercial
expertise, will help us to strengthen ACS’s position as the partner of choice for architects, contractors and developers seeking high-performance façade products and solutions.”
