Is it too late to wish everyone a happy new year? I hope not. following a short break over Christmas, January has got off to a really busy start for us as we work on the next edition of TopicUK and Yorkshire Businesswoman magazines.

As we have entered another lockdown, we have been busy posting on our website and on social media for all our partners, to ensure that they receive lots of publicity as well as delivering another TopicUK printed edition across the region.

We have been restricted in the number of places we can leave TopicUK but undeterred, we have sought out new outlets and mailed once again to the managing directors and marketing directors of the top 500 Yorkshire companies. Thank you to all the businesses who have continued to support us, our partners, our outlets and of course our incredible team.

The second edition of Yorkshire Businesswoman magazine will be published at the end of next week, and once again we have been overwhelmed with the response from the business ladies within the region. I always knew there were lots of hardworking business ladies out there and now they have a platform to be able to shout about it. Our cover story features Dame Linda Pollard chair of the NHS Trust in Leeds. Linda and I have chatted regularly on the phone and I cannot wait to meet her in person, she has had such an incredible career.

Once the pandemic is over, there will be a party and hopefully that will see the launch of the print edition for Yorkshire Businesswoman. For their loyalty, partners who join us now digitally, will be rewarded with huge discounts when we do print.

Work is also ongoing on the 47th edition of TopicUK,it will be exactly eight years since the launch of the first one way back in 2013. We have met some incredible businesses over that time and introduced and connected many others.

If you have a story to share, want to be connected with someone or are interested in becoming one of our valued partners, do get in touch: editor@topicuk.co.uk or call 07711 539047.
