It was a busy week last week as we worked on both our new TopicUK which will go Yorkshire wide from the next edition and our new ‘baby’ Urban Market.
We met up with David from Coeur de Xocolat who will be sharing his love of chocolate, chocolate making and demonstrating with us. I was lucky enough to receive some of his delicious chocolate too to sample.
Andrea Jenkyns MP (pictured with Adeem Younis) joined TopicUK, on a tour of our partners premises, Penny Appeal and she was very impressed with the hard work and dedication the charity shows with their work not just in the UK but globally. Penny Appeal has grown substantially in recent years which has enabled them to increase the good work they do.
Tomorrow I will be in Leeds at the second Business Catalyst Club lunch as TopicUK are media partners. If you haven’t picked up your copy of TopicUK yet, they will be available at the event. I will also be meeting up with Debbie Dobson, Sales Manager from the Dakota who will be hosting our TopicUK re-launch event in July.
Friday will see us attend the Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement event at Dock Hall, this is a fabulous annual event, celebrating women from all over Yorkshire.
Finally, I am looking forward to sampling local micro breweries with Brewtown Tours who have invited me on one of their Leeds tours. You’ll be able to read about my experience in Urban Market.
