We’ve just held the second TopicTapas event and once again we were thrilled with the number of businesses who joined us. We almost reached the same number as last time 69, which is incredible for a wet and windy Thursday lunchtime, particularly when we clashed with another event in Huddersfield.
We have set a date for the March event of the 23rd, once again at the National Coal Mining Museum for England and we do hope that we again enjoy a wonderful turnout. I can’t wait to see the video that was done by Evoke Media of Sheffield, who help to do a fantastic job promoting TopicTapas and the businesses that attend. This will be online as soon as we receive it. Perhaps you will be featured if you attended, I saw a few having a chat with Sophie the presenter!
We are in the process of setting up a Leeds TopicTapas, probably with a Yorkshire flavour, so if you’re interested in joining us for that, do let us know.
I have just returned from a lovely evening attending the VIP night at the West Yorkshire History Centre in Wakefield that opens officially to the public on Saturday 11th February. This new centre is a MUST for everyone, records dating back hundreds of years are all stored in the building. I was lucky enough to have a private tour before Christmas, so I am excited to see it now completed. There will be a feature in the forthcoming edition of TopicUK Wakefield where you can see and read about this amazing building for yourselves.
