Teaching tricks of the trade

Fancy your hand at blogging?

It’s time to get your blog with Wakefield’s own expert.

Trainer Michelle Poole, from Ossett, is hosting an event to help established and aspiring bloggers boost or set-up their blogging sites.
Michelle, who has spent years as an IT coach and founder of Practical Business Coaching, said: “Our All Things Blogging course is all you need to get off the starting blocks with blogging – or re-inspired if you’ve lost your way.
“It will take you from ‘what is blogging’ all the way through to posting and sharing your blogs.”

Michelle, who is also a Virtual Hand assistant, decided to put on blogging specific courses due to the rising demand of businesses wanting to add blogs to their site as well as budding hobby and professional bloggers.
She said: “Blogs add personality to a brand and can turn into a business of their own.

“I’ve seen an increasing number of people wanting to get their voice out there via a blog format, so I’m pleased to be able to share my skills on how to do this successfully.”

The event which takes place at Selby Enterprise Cafe will help aspiring bloggers come up with content ideas, a blog template and finding images to use.
As well as practical advice on setting up your blog and creating your first blog post the All Things Blogging course takes place on Tuesday April 18 from 9.30am until 4pm, costing £100 including lunch and refreshments.
