Scandi-inspired Sheffield hotel Brocco On The Park is doing the city proud as it scores a nomination for a top national award which celebrates luxury independent hotels.
The eight-room boutique hotel and neighbourhood kitchen on Brocco Bank has been shortlisted alongside five other hotels across the UK for Outstanding New Hotel in the Independent Hotel Show Awards.
Brocco, a refurbished Edwardian villa, was shortlisted based on its outstanding commitment to guest experience and its unique Scandinavian style.
Tiina Carr, owner of Brocco on the Park, said: “We’re delighted to have been nominated for such a prestigious award, for both ourselves and the city of Sheffield.
“We’ve worked tirelessly to make Brocco truly special and provide the best experience for our guests and diners. We’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished.”
Brocco opened its doors in November 2014, after being meticulously refurbished and restored to its former Edwardian glory. Hailed as a Scandi haven, the hotel scooped a Good Hotel Guide award earlier this year and, rumour has it, once hosted Pablo Picasso.
The Independent Hotel Show Awards in association with Sky will take place on 17th October at Olympia London. You can vote for Brocco at http://www.independenthotelshow.co.uk/awards/vote-here
