With body language and visual impact at the forefront of the illustrious first-impression, nationally respected speaker and founder of DO Positive Impact, Deborah Ogden, will deliver a masterclass in presenting a powerful first-impression at Wakefield Bondholders first Friday – Wakefield’s leading monthly networking event.
Offering advice on using the personal brand to make a positive impact, Deborah will explain why it is crucial to create a lasting, positive impression on colleagues and clients alike.
Deborah, trained solicitor and PR pro comments: “When up against looming business deadlines and mounting paperwork, working on yourself often falls to the bottom of the pile.
“But, in an increasingly competitive business climate, the tools to make that perfect first impression, followed up with a powerful pitch delivered with the epitome of confidence are the skills that will secure those contracts and push individuals and businesses to become the stand out, go to experts in their field.”
Ian Wainwright of Wakefield Bondholders, adds: “We’re really looking forward to hearing what Deborah has to say about everything from body language and visual impact, to communication and presentation skills. Personal impact is often something that is considered subconsciously, so, we can all benefit from putting the image that we project at the forefront of our minds.”
Having previously trained as a solicitor, and with 20 years of experience in PR working for high-profile names such as Andrew (Freddie) Flintoff, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, the British Heart Foundation, Deborah is a regular commentator on BBC Radio and has recently had her work published in personal development book, Your Success.
The first Friday event, which will also feature networking opportunities alongside a breakfast of hot sandwiches, pastries and fruit, will take place on 7th April, 8.30-11.00am at The Hepworth, Wakefield.
