Jenny Layfield, General Manager of Nostell National Trust and one of the founding members of Wakefield’s Cultural Consortium, has joined the steering group for Wakefield Bondholders – the private sector initiative to brand, market and promote the district as a great place to visit, invest and live.
Representing culture and tourism, Jenny will volunteer her time to ensure that this vibrant sector has a voice within the groups promotional plans and activities. She will also chair the culture and tourism sub group, which brings together bondholder members who are passionate about supporting and promoting the districts ‘must visit’ offering.
Jenny Layfield, comments: “I am thrilled to be joining the Bondholders; this is a really exciting time for the Wakefield District in general and the cultural offer in particular. There are huge benefits to be gained by working in partnership to promote the great benefits of visiting, living and investing in Wakefield”.

Wakefield Bondholders is a private sector initiative to accelerate the growth of the Wakefield district, to assist in its regeneration by branding, marketing and promoting it to a national and international audience.
To date there are more than 150 members made up of local businesses that represent the districts core sectors. Together Wakefield Bondholders have the ambition and drive to create a more powerful and successful business environment, whilst also showcasing the region as a great place to visit and live.
