On Friday 23rd June, the Just Balance conference, in association with Croft Myl, and partnered by TopicUK, will be taking place at The Moorlands Inn, Halifax. Those attending will enjoy inspirational speakers, motivational talks, a marketplace and a day of networking with other entrepreneurial business women from across the UK.
When you’re a woman, balancing just comes naturally. From organising the household, the children, your social life, to running a business… women just do it and this is what inspired us to call the conference, Just Balance.
Taking the stage at Just Balance is our keynote speaker, Debra Searle MVO MBE who confounded the odds by rowing singlehandedly across the Atlantic and has continued to test herself and push the limits ever since. Debra speaks from the heart and with great humour about the strategies she used to keep going in her business life, to help illustrate, in a very human way, what we are all capable of. Debra has a ‘passion for demolishing stereotypes’ and was a founding member of The Business Women’s Network Forum, which is based out of Buckingham Palace and chaired by The Countess of Wessex.
Sharing the stage will be, Judith Wright, the CEO of a successful marketing agency, Deborah Ogden, a nationally respected speaker on Positive Impact and Presence, Nicky Pattinson who built her own business turnover to £2M within a year, Cheryl Chapman, author of Find Your Why To Become Frickin’ Awesome and few more very knowledgeable guest speakers.
The day will start at 8:30am with coffee and networking with the morning session starting at 9:30am. Throughout the day attendees will be inspired, motivated and given the tools and knowledge to help develop and grow their business. The conference will then finish at 6:30pm with the option to stay for a couple of post conference drinks!
To top things off and to get in the spirit of things, the conference will feature a marketplace to give the opportunity for enterprising ladies to showcase their products and services, Exhibitors include, Ramsdens Solicitors, Pip & Doodle, TopicUK and Moo Boutique to name just a few.
Just Balance have also partnered up with MNDA (Motor Neuron Disease Association) to raise both money and awareness for the fatal rapidly progressing disease.
Motor neurone disease (MND) affects the brain and spinal cord, attacking the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work. It kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis. There is no cure.
Just Balance is open to all women in business, providing the perfect opportunity to bring together business women from across the UK to connect, build relationships and get a fresh perspective on business topics – it’s not one to miss.
Tickets for the conference are available from the L4N UK website. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available with a host of additional benefits including lunch with the speakers.
