Meltham-based commercial property company Towndoor has been shortlisted for the first time in the SME of the Year category in this year’s Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards 2016.
The awards, which are organised by the Centre for Knowledge Exchange at Leeds Beckett University, recognise and celebrate excellence in construction, with a range of organisations, companies and project teams nominated.
There are 13 different award categories, with each one representing a core theme that underpins the ‘Constructing Excellence’ movement within the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
Towndoor managing director Dan Bamforth said:
“It is a great honour for Towndoor to be nominated for the SME of the Year award for the very first time. We are looking forward to the event and being in such illustrious company with local construction giants such as Carillion Morgan Sindall and Henry Boot Construction.”
The winners of the categories will be announced on Friday 1st July at a special gala presentation in Leeds, with music and cocktails for all guests.
