Leeds Queens screen outdoor cult picture show

Chapel Converts for Rocky Horror Outdoor Cinema & Glam-Rock Rave

Yorkshire heritage site Kirkstall Abbey, will convert into a kitsch, interactive drag experience as Sneaky Experience transform the site into a celebration of outlandish entertainment, explosive cabaret acts and a screening of cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, against the backdrop of the gothic ruins, 19th – 20th May, before the glam-rock after party begins.

Prepare for outrageous fun, whether that be watching the movie itself, marveling at the highly talented live performances from the Leeds and Manchester Queens, strutting your stuff down the the Drag-walk, or perfect your pelvic thrusts in warped dance lessons in preparation for the live DJ set from Simon G (SpeedQueen) at the Glam-rock After Party in the ruin’s cloisters.

But, ‘Babies, don’t you panic!’ There’s more…

A fully licensed bar will be operating throughout serving tantilising cocktails, street-food stalls and onsite make-up station plus a photo booth to capture all your glamorous excess.

Dressing up is expected and there are prizes for the best fancy dress, so rip those fishnets, cover yourself in glitter and come join the Sneaky team to fill the transepts with transvestites.

More details which tease at the entertainment, will be released on the Rocky Horror Outdoor Cinema & After Party Page, but in true Sneaky Experience style, the sensational line-up will only be fully revealed, once inside, as the doors close behind you.

This is a ticket only event with performances and access to the Outdoor Cinema and After Party on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May. For more details, and to book tickets, visit: www.sneakyexperience.co.uk
