Kirklees College is getting ready to host its November Open Days. The Open Days will be held at the Huddersfield and Dewsbury Centres and will give prospective students the opportunity to see the college, its facilities, and staff first-hand.

The college’s mission is to create opportunities and change lives of people across Kirklees by offering offers a wide range of 16-18 courses, higher education, adult courses and apprenticeships taught by industry experienced tutors to help create an informed, talented and aspirational workforce.

The centres that will be open in Huddersfield are the main Huddersfield Centre on Manchester Road, Brunel Construction Centre, Engineering Centre and Taylor Hill Animal Centre. In Dewsbury, prospective students will be able to visit the Pioneer Higher Skills Centre and Springfield Sixth Form Centre, which is dedicated to higher education and higher skills.

The open days will be held at Huddersfield Centres on Saturday 19 November, 10.30am – 1.00pm (last entry at 12.30pm) and at Dewsbury Centres on Wednesday 23 November 5.00pm – 7.30pm (last entry 7.00pm).

Everyone is welcome to attend the events, including prospective students, parents and carers.

Teachers, students and staff will all be there to give advice, practical demonstrations and to help guide visitors around the centres.
