Get that Christmas feeling – what’s on at Wakefield Hospice

Christmas Craft & Gift Fair – Sunday 22nd November, 10am – 4pm. Cedar Court Hotel.

There will be a fantastic selection of crafts and gifts on sale at the Christmas Fair. Cards, jewellery, scarves, bags, ceramics, childrens toys, books, beauty, textiles, homeware, Christmas decorations and much much more. Free parking and free admission.

Jane Means Gift Wrapping – Tuesday 1st December, 7pm. Holiday Inn, Ossett.

The Hospice are delighted to welcome back Jane Means, the gift wrap guru to Wakefield. Jane will be hosting the evening and demonstrating how to make your gifts look festively fabulous this Christmas, sharing tips on how to tackle those ‘hard to wrap’ presents.

Santa Dash and Santa Cycle – Sunday 6th December, 10.30am, Pugneys Country Park.

Start your Christmas celebrations by joining in with the Wakefield Hospice annual festive fundraiser, the Santa Dash and Santa Cycle event at Pugneys Country Park. You will be provided with a Santa hat but you are welcome to dress up in any festive costume. Past events have included elves, fairies, trees, Christmas puddings and even a turkey! This non-competitive event is all about having some fun and raising funds. You can choose to either jingle all the way around Pugneys Lake (approx. 1.5 miles) or take part in our guided ride to Wintersett and back, approximately 13 miles.
