Integrated marketing agency, Fantastic Media, has been selected to manage the new home kit launch for Sheffield United Football Club.
Fantastic provided full project management, including photography, creative direction and media production to bring the new season’s strip to life. As well as setting the visual style for the campaign the Leeds based agency worked on the retail advertising assets for the kit in line with the Forged in Steel campaign, embracing the values of passion and strength that carried the team in promotion to the Championship.
Five of the first team players took time out to model the home, away and goal-keeper kits. The shoot took place at StealPhalt Football Academy on the interior AstroTurf pitch. Players involved in the photoshoot were Billy Sharp, Simon Moore, Kieran Freeman, John Fleck, Jack O’Connell and Chris Basham.
Alongside the photography for the campaign, Fantastic also produced a short behind the scenes video to accompany the launch.

We are always amazed by their attention to detail and the creativity they bring to the team.
“Their management of a large photoshoot like this was second to none. They managed to entertain our team and get them comfortable enough to pose for the camera. They ensured that all equipment needed for the shoot arrived on time, and was of the best quality, whether this was the crash mats hired for action shots or the camera equipment itself.”

The official Sheffield United 2017/18 home kit became available to buy online on Thursday 15th June, 2017.
