Leading Yorkshire law firm Ward Hadaway has announced a key appointment in its employment team as the department continues to grow.

The firm welcomes Amy Hughes to the employment department, which has grown by 50% in the last two years. Amy advises on all aspects of employment law providing expertise on workplace policies and procedures, grievance and disciplinary issues, and dealing with contract queries, as well as defending employment tribunal claims and negotiating settlement agreements.

With Amy’s appointment, the team in Leeds is now nine people strong as the department supports a greater number of regional and national businesses and individuals requiring employment and immigration legal advice. Turnover has increased by over a third (35%) in the last 12 months, with a further 15% increase expected this year.
