Easy Bathrooms has appointed Iain Robertson, co-founder of leading tile adhesive brand, Rocatex, to drive trade sales across its 130 showrooms, in the newly created role of head of trade.

Iain, who departed Rocatex in late-2022, has worked in the industry for over two decades, and is well-placed to help the growing bathroom and tile brand to build stronger connections with plumbers, tilers, and fitters.

The relationship between Easy Bathrooms and Iain began in 2016, when Easy Bathrooms began to stock Rocatex products. The brand quickly became Rocatex’s biggest customer.

Now, Iain is leveraging 20 years of commercial experience to grow Easy Bathrooms’ trade division.

Just a month into his role, Iain is spearheading the launch of a new Trade Referral Cashback Scheme.

The scheme offers traders 10% in cashback against the value of their customer’s purchase – who will also receive 10% off their order.

It is a great addition to Easy Bathrooms’ current trade offer – which will still be available – where fitters can currently buy direct from Easy Bathrooms on behalf of their customer, with up to 50% discount applied.

Commenting on his new role, Iain said: “I have admired Easy Bathrooms as a commercial partner for many years, so now feel honoured to be a part of the team. My primary focus is to grow existing relationships and gain new trade customers. I’m fortunate to be joining a company which has such superb infrastructure in place.

“With 130 showrooms, full product guarantees and the largest stock holding of any bathroom company, we have incredibly strong foundations and all the key ingredients to make the trade division an even bigger success than it already is. We’ve also invested heavily in our own fleet of vehicles, meaning we have better direct-to-site deliveries, and we don’t need to rely solely on external pallet networks.”
