DIGITAL healthcare innovators are invited to a free event in Barnsley to explore funding and business support to help bring new products and services to market.
Connected Healthcare ‘From Concept to Cash’ will provide an opportunity for creative and digital specialists, tech entrepreneurs and healthcare businesses interested in digital healthcare to make connections and seek advice and support.
The event will be held at the Digital Media Centre in Barnsley and feature speakers on digital health, technology and investment including crowd-funders Crowdcube, tech investors Mercia Technologies, Dotforge accelerator and Tech North.
There will also be opportunities to network and explore funding and business support options at exhibition stands too, where attendees will be able to book one-to-one slots with expert advisors on the day. In addition, businesses and entrepreneurs can apply to deliver a three-minute pitch to promote their existing digital health project in order to seek funding, new contacts or collaborations. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested. Pitches from the top three digital healthcare projects at the recent Yorkshire and Humber Digital Health Design Challenge are already on the agenda.
The event, which is the fourth in the Connected Healthcare programme to promote digital health innovation, is supported by the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network, Tech North and Enterprising Barnsley.
Enterprising Barnsley is the economic development arm of Barnsley Council, which offers business support to help Barnsley businesses grow and create jobs.
