Businesses make a date for speed networking session

There will be chance to build some perfect business relationships at the next Networking with a Conscience event run by Halifax Opportunities Trust.

The free session, on Thursday, December 7, will follow a “speed networking” format, with guests circulating around the tables for a series of quick-fire one-to-ones. This enables everyone to make as many connections as possible in the allotted time.

It will be co-hosted by Avalonmae Social Media, from Huddersfield, who will also share some social media tips and tricks to help businesses build their network online.

The monthly Networking with a Conscience sessions are held at the trust’s community-based business centre, the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, as part of their charitable objective to provide help and advice to local businesses. The idea for the new support sessions sprung from a popular open door networking event which they held as part of the recent national Community Business Weekend.

The December event goes on from 9.30am until 11am at the centre on Hopwood Lane, Halifax.
